Hi @zeevkli,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your laptop's keyboard!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

The HP 14-inch Laptop (PC 14-ep1000) running Windows 11 might not have a dedicated Insert key. However, you can still emulate the Insert key function using various key combinations or remapping techniques.

Using the On-Screen Keyboard

  1. Press Windows + Ctrl + O to open the On-Screen Keyboard.
  2. Locate the Insert key on the on-screen keyboard and click it.

Remapping Keys

If you frequently need the Insert function, you can remap an existing key to the Insert function using third-party software like SharpKeys, AutoHotkey, or Microsoft PowerToys.

Using SharpKeys:

  1. Download and install SharpKeys.
  2. Open SharpKeys and click on Add.
  3. Choose a key to remap (e.g., Right Alt), and set it to Insert from the list.
  4. Click Write to Registry and reboot your computer.

Using AutoHotkey:

  1. Download and install AutoHotkey.
  2. Create a new script file with the following content:
    !j::Insert  ; Remaps Right Alt + J to Insert
  3. Save the file and double-click it to run.

I hope this helps.
