Can the motherboard on hp notebook 17-by0055nr be replaced and upgraded?

 

I upgraded the RAM from 8gb to 16gb but I’m still not getting the performance I wish to achieve. I am  aware that the CPU is soldered to the motherboard so I am wondering if the motherboard can be changed to a new motherboard with a faster CPU. I am also aware that may be a fool’s errand as it may be simply smarter and cheaper to buy a new laptop but indulge me if at all possible.

 

If yes, 1) what models are available, 2) what are the specs, and 3) how much is it going to cost?
