i was looking to upgrade my ram for my laptop, i have searched on line but cant find an answer

Your Service Manual is here- http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06615619.pdf  It shows on page 26 you can install up to 32GB DDR4-3200 MHz, 1.2 v. I t also has the replacement procedures you need to install memory modules.


You can go here https://www.crucial.com/store/crucial-advisor-trust  and look up compatible ram for your laptop.

Be advised that HP likes memory with relaxed timings, like the vanilla Crucial modules, or Samsung, SK Hynix modules work well. Don't buy any modules labeled as Performance ram, as there are no adjustments you can make in bios for timings.
