I received the laptop today Sunday via FedEx Ground.
Connected the laptop to AC adapter since the laptop was said to have a bad battery.
The laptop powered up and the power LED is lit.
But the screen is completely dark.
I will be returning since the laptop was advertised as being able to boot to BIOS with photo to prove it.
The laptop was most likely damaged in shipping.
The laptop was loose inside a fairly large shipping box.
I heard a loud thud when the FedEx guy left the box in front of the garage.

Sorry to read that the notebook you received doesn't work.
It is very possible since the notebook was not securely packaged to prevent it from bouncing around inside the box, that it was damaged during shipping.

They should have securely taped bubble wrap around the laptop.
The box is 18" x 18" x 10" high.

I tried connecting the laptop via VGA cable to an external monitor and pressing F4 and Fn+F4 but there isn't an image on the external monitor.
I would like to salvage this laptop if I can.
Is there anything else I can try?
