charging led light glow even after charger disconnected

Recently I replaced my HP 15 D017TU Laptop Battery.  New battery Callibration has been done and battery working fine. backup also so good but i notice some issue. Laptop charging led light always glow white when i connect charger and glow continues even after charger disconnected. Led light always stable white even after laptop shutdown. Before replace battery, led glow orange when laptop charing and white when battery full charge and led dark when charger disconnected.  I done all test related power and battery, everything is fine and normal. What is the Issue???

Hello,

do the following trick.

(1) Open the windows device manager and uninstall the battery and battery management system and shutdown your operating system.

(2) Remove battery, remove ac adapter, press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.

(3) Install battery, plugin ac adapter and wait until the battery is fully charged (don't start the operating system !) and check the charging led.

(4) If you have no charging led, wait at least 2 hours ...

(5) Start your operating system, now the windows battery management system is synchronized with your installed battery. Normally it should show 98-100% battery level.

All Done but led light glow continuously

Thanks for your response. I have done all according your suggestion, see attached screenshot. But didn't resolve issue. I don't know it is hardware issue or software. Because charging led light glow white even after windows shutdown. When i removed battery from laptop, led disable and after re insert battery, led light disable till charger not connected. After charger plugin, the light glow white and continue glow even after charger remove, windows shutdown.

(1) What happens when you put the old battery back in ? Does the behavior of the charge LED change back to the original state (orange ... white) ?

(2) Are old and new battery technically identical, especially model number ? Possibly the BMS (Battery Management System) of the new battery could be defective.
