HP Chromebook 14

need to replace both charging ports on Chrome model# 14CA052WM.  Can I do it myself?

I cannot tell from the manual if the power connector is on the connector board or separate, but it is not part of the system board which is good.

contacted HP Parts help support on line.  They said it is part of the motherboard and I should get in touch with a HP repair store.  The closest one is two hours away.  Will call tomorrow and see if I can ship.  "Motherboard" sounds expensive.  [edit]
