Opinion varies on whether this is possible. It doesn't happen on my machine. This post from HP makes out that it can be done easily. Some online comment suggests you need a 65w charger. Currys, the UK retailer, suggest you need a USB C lead with a higher output [sic]. Any ideas, please? Many thanks. Paul in England.

Sadly, that doesn't work. It's hard to get an official view from HP. The online help person said something like "maybe your model doesn't support USB charging" which, though true, doesn't count as technical support. Anyone can take guesses. Someone working for HP needs to be able to give definitive answers based on the machine's specs.
