compaq 610 sd slot driver

Hi i have just reinstalled windows 7 on my laptop.

In my device manager i have under other devices an unknow device flagging

looking at what else is ok i think the only think im missing is the sd card driver if there is one maybe this is the fault

But searching on here under a compaq 610 i can find no sd card drivers...can anyone help.?

Hi, Mark:

The SD card reader may be listed as a PCI Device or a Base System Device.

Let me know which one it is, and also post the hardware ID for it.

You're very welcome.

That's not the SD card reader.

You need this driver for the HPQ0006...

HP Quick Launch Buttons

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp49001-49500/sp49104.exe

You might have to insert a SD card to get the device to show up in the device manager if it isn't showing up as a PCI device, or Base System Device.
