Your Intel i3 10th gen processor-based notebook has a gen 3 M.2 slot.
A WD SN850X NVMe gen 4 SSD is backward compatible with your M.2 slot and should work but only runs at gen 3 speeds.
Your service manual describes the M.2 drive installation procedure on page 37.

Are you sure it will work? And if it does should I consider a cheaper option like the
Western Digital WD Black SN770 NVMe 1TB PCIe Gen 4 NVMe M.2 (2280)(SSD) (WDS100T3X0E)
Or any other gen 3 SSD from crucial or wd?
Please advise a good SSD for my Hp 15s du2009TU.
Kindly consider my problem
Thanks.

Service manual I posted is actually for 15s-du0xxx which come with Intel Core 7th or 8th processors, and even this manual states that M.2 NVMe SSDs are supported (see pp1-2).
Your notebook has an Intel i3 1005G1 processor, and it supports PCIe version 3.0, so you M.2 slot is gen 3.
Intel® Core™ i3-1005G1 Processor
All I can say is that a WD SN850X gen 4 SSD should work but run at the reduced gen 3 speeds.
If you still aren't convinced, maybe somebody else will help you.

Just a few of highly reputable NVMe gen 3 SSDs.
