i tried buying a stick of a ram from kingston hyper x fury but the laptop has a black screen result upon installing i tried troubleshooting the ram slot both using that ram the one i bought and i tried using the ram that was pre installed the ram.that only work is the pre installed one it means hyper x fury or kingston as well is not compatible with this laptop that runs on an amd chipset

As long as you purchase the memory module that Kingston states is compatible, it should work.

 

You can't just put any memory module and expect it to work, since they have different configurations, voltage requirements and timings.

Sorry, you have made an incorrect assumption in stating that Kingston  memory modules do not work with your laptop. You must use the proper Kingston memory modules.

i tried i know what i bought a kingston hyper x fury 3200mhz ddr4 16gb stick i research all about it. it only works with my hp laptop 745 g2 same manufacturer same brand but ddr3 only  but this one doesnt seem to work with my hp 255 g9 both are same.amd.chipset

ok thanks man i really appreciate what you did keep it up and also the hp 255 g9 have a slot for a 2.5 ssd or hdd but the problem is the socket i cant seem to find the socket for it or what do you call it for the sss hdd caddy or whatever that is inside to install it

The HP 255 G9 has a slot for a PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD.
