I have two notebooks. 1x HP EliteBook 850 G4 and a surface book.
I bought an HP 2UK37AA Docking-Station with usb-c to be able to connect the doc only with usb-c to the pc and everything should connect automatically (displays, network, usb...).
With my surface it works just fine with 2 displays.
with my hp it doesnt...I think the usb-c connection from the notebook is not supporting displays?
Is there any chance I can connect the HP-Notebook with the Docking-Station using usb-c? Maybe with an adapter?
I would like to get rid of all the displayport cables and would like to only use usb-c..
Best Regards
Tobias

Your HP Thunderbolt Dock 120W G2 docking station is not compatible with your HP laptop.
Did you notice the word Thunderbolt in its name? Your HP laptop does not have a Thunderbolt port and that is why it won't work. Your Surface laptop probably does have Thunderbolt ports.
