Pavilion dv6

Hello Folks,

I given a laptop to have a look at. The user had the laptop going when I collected it. When I got home I start the laptop it would not start. I am only getting a continues flashing white light in the caps lock. I have looked at some of the trouble shooting, holding down the power button + reseating the ram but this has not done anything. Any pointers please?

thanks
