I want to upgrade my Ryzen 3 CPU processor for a Ryzen 5 processor but I don’t know if the Ryzen 5 is compatible with the motherboard of my notebook. I also want to add a m.2 ssd but I don’t know if my Laptop has a m.2 or nvme ssd socket.

Hi:

Your notebook's processor is an integral part of the motherboard and cannot be upgraded unless you replace the motherboard with one listed in chapter 3 of your notebook's service manual that may come with a better processor.

The costs associated with doing such an upgrade would come close to what you paid for the notebook, and is almost always a poor return on investment.

Since your notebook has a Ryzen processor, the M.2 slot it has supports NVMe SSD's.

The manual doesn't state so, but here is a YouTube video that shows a NVMe SSD works in the 255 G7's with the Ryzen processors.
