Hi everyone!

I have HP Compaq Presario CQ61-304SW [serial number removed]

There is installed hard drive HDD 320GB. Can I install in it 500GB SSD? Does it gonna work?

Yes, you can use Crucial MX 500 series or Samsung 860 EVO series off 2.5" SSD's.

 

Please note: SSD's are thinner than your 9.5mm slot therefore you need a spacer for SSD. I know Crucial always supplies a spacer with their SSD's but in many cases Samsung does not.
