crack near power button

hi I have had my HP laptop for a few years. A couple of months ago a crack appeared on across the power button, however this has gradually got worse. I dont want the problem to persist or get worse if it can be fixed. I cannot find any papers regarding warranty etc. I assume the warranty is up, but how long does it usually last? Could I get this fixed? Thank you

1)Click on this link – www.hp.com/contacthp/

2)Select the product type.

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.
