1: get it repaired. by any pc repair shop,  (any tech can do this, its just normal to pull screens.)

2: dismantle that part per the service manual, and clean it.

we are blind here,  no photos presented of your display with bug.(insect):?

insect, bug right>?

if you look here,  in the service manual  (read page 19)  is that worth $500 , no./

the display comes off,

 http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05273198

ive never seen any any why for a living INSECT to go in to this laminated parts,

why not show photos of said INSECT.

BUG in computer science means,  software error

BUG to garderner means Insect.

which is it.  show photos to the blind,

your tech can see it we can't, see the problem asking any blind person, in a chat box.?
sure add photos, and magic happens.  some say worth 1000 words.

comon things seen on screens (bad)

never insects

pixel failure.

lines

colors wrong.

or words wrong,  graphics wrong, (or endless microsoft windows oddities)  any cameara made works.  post one?

no photos of insect no joy !

why is it so hard to post a photo of it.?

billions of cell phone cams, and not one photo posted here.

why?

my PC laptop no insect can get there ever.

let me explain

my front is clear plastic.

the behind that is LCD plactic lamentations

behand that is  plastic defusion panel, then a LED back light array

no instects can get there. ever,

if one did crawl to the LED back side, it would not show as  an insect but a shadow.

no photos no joy,  we cant guess what things look like, ever,  in a text box. with words.

if the insect is smashed on the front glass then use mild soapy water to clean off the guts.

why not find TECH2 get a 2second opinion, or any geek on the block,  or any smart kid in school that knows PC's

or someone with eyes that can see, we cant ever. unless  you post photos

why did you not respond to my request for  photos, (lazy? no cam,.? what?)_

this?  you have an INSECT behind that flat glass plactic front plate????

why not photo your insect and post that, just like i did, in 30seconds flat.

DP error

if you photo'd it

we'd see at what layer it resides, (depth) the world is 3D, so depth MATTERS.
