Product: HP Pavilion x360 - 14-dh1179tu

i have hp pavillion x360 dh1179tu recently it suddenly stopped getting charged after reaching out to the service centre ,the technician informed me that it has a mother board issue. What are the options i have, to repair my current device economically to use it as i can't afford to buy new laptop as of now.

If the authorized service center made that recommendation, you don't have many options, unless you happen to know how to troubleshoot to the component level on a laptop system board.

 

There are shops that repair laptops at the component level, but I cannot say I know any in India.

 

Here in the US and UK, I am aware of a few with good track record of repairing non-charging laptops.

 

 

You could replace the laptop with a refurbished  certified laptop to reduce the cost of purchase.

thanks for taking your time to answer my query. If possible can you suggest sites or sellers who can sell authentic  spare parts if you have any knowledge regarding this.

No worries.

 

Be aware that HP outsources for virtually every part in the notebook and "authentic" just means that a part is identified by the HP part number.

 

A part having an HP part number means that the part complies with HP's specifications.

You will have to be far more specific than just stating "parts".
