Product: HP ProBook 430 G8 Notebook PC (2V658AV)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11
Dear All,
I have bought ~ 10 days ago a new HP ProBook 430 G8 Notebook-PC, as a replacement for my old laptop HP EliteBook 830 G5 Notebook-PC.
Please, can you answer the following minor question: I still have two 65W chargers that I was using for my old laptop HP EliteBook 830 G5 Notebook-PC . Can I safely use those chargers also for the new model HP ProBook 430 G8 Notebook-PC, even though I see that I got now the 45W charger for it?
The output voltage on both chargers is the name, namely 19.5 V.
Thank you very much for your time and consideration!
Cheers,
Ante

The HP ProBook 430 G8 series also uses 65W AC adapters. In your case 65W would charge battery quicker.
Regards.
