My device is using my hard drives at 100% disk usage. I have only got my device since a year. I don't have much files or any third-party apps to slow down my pc. Then why is this happening, my pc performance is slowing down. I also didn't use my pc for some time. Is my pc slowing down because of that?? Please help me.

Hard drive can slow down the system either by being too full which you can measure by just looking at the disk in This PC and see the pie chart. Or, the drive is failing in which case you can figure that out with a hardware diagnostic test HP has provided as part of the software installation.

Malware or a virus is also a possibility.

Please look at these things and post back with what you find so we can help further.
