Hi there, i'd like to replace the HD with an SSD unit.

 

Does anyone know which unit could be suitable with this laptop?

I recommend the WD Blue 2.5" SSD which has the best performance for the price.

 

WD Blue 3D NAND SATA SSD Unità allo Stato Solido Interna 2.5", 500 GB : Amazon.it: Informatica

 

Below is the link to the service manual, where you can find the hard drive removal and replacement procedure.

thank you very much for your quick response and help. Will go for this solution.

Actually i wasn't able to find any more detailed info from hp specs about the size of the the installed hdd.

WD is a great solution for sure.
