hp notebook 15 bs637tu
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I was initially planning on replacing my hard drive with an SSD.

Through the Service Manual, I found a reference to an M2 slot.

2 questions:

1) without opening the case, is there a way to know if the laptop has an M2 slot?

2) If so, what interface? mSATA, PCI Express-b, or NVMe?

i have hp notebook15 bs637tu

S.No. 3km36pa

Thanks!!!

The only way to find out is to open the case.

It is unfortunate, but with entry and mainstream notebooks, HP sometimes includes the slot and screw and sometimes not. That is specifically with notebook delivered, or ordered with only a legacy hard disk as the default storage media.

That is why we can only advise people to check.
