i have an hp laptop 17 -cp2033dx and it only has 1 hdmi port and the usb-c port it does have is for data only. my question is what can i do in my current setup to have multiple monitors connected with the same computer.
obviously getting a new computer is a bit out of the question, but if does it have PCI or PCIe that i can add a better GPU or a work around for an alternative device that will allow me to have 2 monitors and the laptop screen simultaneously

I can not find its specs, only few options from retails amd looks like it has ONE hopeless USB-C port which does NOT support Alt mode nor Power Delivery. You can NOT use it to
- Charge your machine,
- Connect to an external monitor with/without hub/dock/adapter
If you wish to connect 2 external monitors (only-total 3), you can use
- Monitor 1: HDMI direct cable,
- Monitor 2: Using a Displaylink Certified USB-A to HDMI adapter such as
