I've been looking for the latest drivers for my old laptop I just recently updated to Windows 10 and am having issues with my drivers not downloading properly via automatic downloads and need to manually download each of them to get things working again and yes i have used hp support but it keeps telling me everything is working properly even though they are not especially my speakers. doesn't matter how many times i've reinstalled IDT only the subwoofer is working. 😛 even just getting told which other systems I can use to download since i can't seem to find my dv7 model anywhere.

Thank you for your time.

It's very old laptop and no longer supported so driver page of this laptop is not available. Also you don't need that. Just run windows update and it will install all drivers automatically. If laptop doesn't even have wifi driver, then connect it to internet using Mobile USB tethering and run windows update. It will install wifi+ other drivers.

HP has retired support for your notebook since it is more than 10 years old which is why you can't find any drivers for it and it was never supported by HP for W10.

Regarding the audio:

The only suggestion I can offer would be to try this W10 IDT audio driver from a newer model notebook and hope it works on yours.

IDT High-Definition (HD) Audio Driver

6.10.6492.0

sp71886.exe

Restart the PC after installing the driver.

Sometimes this driver sets the PC headphones as the default audio output, so if you have no sound after installing the driver make sure that the PC speakers are set as the default audio output in the Windows control panel.

If you need other drivers let me know what devices that need them.

Provide the descriptions of what Windows labeled them as.

The last BIOS update HP released for your notebook was F.29 and was only designed to be run on W7.

I have no idea what will happen if you try and update the BIOS when running W10 and the file will not let you make a USB BIOS recovery drive.
