Product: HP ProBook 450 G1
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

My dvd drive stopped working, so I went to Device Manager, selected Uninstall on CD/DVD-ROM drives. After restarting the computer, the driver was not automatically installed. How do I get my DVD drive to work again 😞

The only suggestion I can offer (besides backing up your files and doing a factory reset), would be to go through the resolution steps at the link below...

I think the factory reset may be the better option since I do not wish to uninstall any more drivers in serach of a solution. Many thanks.
