@Schnoefter

No, M.2 for wifi adapter and M.2 for storage are 2 different things slots. You do not have to remove wifi adapter to install M.2 drive.

Is it an  HP Laptop 15-dw3003ni machine ? Its specs

           https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c07054002

It supports dual storage with M.2 NVMe SSD + 2.5" HDD. It has  1 TB 5400 rpm SATA HDD now, you can add a standard a M.2 to your machine using standard drives on market today such as

            https://www.samsung.com/au/memory-storage/970-evo-nvme-m2-ssd/MZ-V7E2T0BW/

            https://www.crucial.com/products/ssd/crucial-p5-ssd

Or similar from reputable vendors.
