The eMMC drive in my notebook is fairly fast, but it is slower than the upgraded SSDs. Wondering what the fastest eMMC that someone here has experienced with.

You're very welcome.
I knew that an eMMC drive was not as fast as a SATA SSD, but I expected more speed out of the eMMC drive my Stream notebook has.
LIke SD cards, there are probably different speeds.
The readings I got were hardly faster than a SATA III mechanical hard drive's.

Your performance is about par for the course on the eMMC:

Hi, @haimoc
Here is the report from my HP Stream Pro G4's 64 GB eMMC SSD.
As you can see, your notebook's eMMC drive is performing much better than mine is.
This notebook is from 2018 and has an Intel Celeron N3450 processor.

This is my first notebook that has an eMMC. I always thought eMMC must be very fast or at least as fast as an average SSD. I installed a SSD to the notebook to have more space, but having a faster drive is a bonus. Tks Paul.
