Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Hi, I own an Elitebook 840 g1 come with i5-4300U CPU. I started to realize that it is slowing quick a bit. I am planning for an upgrade as the following:
1) What are the Intel CPU I can put in?
2) Which SSD should fit in (Sata, Msata or the NVMe?
3) Also, planning for a clean win11 installation.
4) Is it worth the upgrade as the above?
5) What else should I be looking into for my one time off upgrade?
Thank in advance for any suggestion.

- A2. You can use SATA-3, not NVMe drive
- A3. No, CPU's are not supported (Windows 11) you have to get around
- A4. It is an old machine, if you have another machine you can play with it
- A5. ditto.
Regards.
