Welcome to HP Community

I have gone through your Post and would like to help

May I know how are you reinstalling the Windows? As you booting up from the Recovery Media to install the OS on the mSATA?

I suggest you remove the Hard drive first and then try reinstalling the OS on the mSaATA drive

Keep me posted

I have already done this test, if I remove the hard disk (HDD) the computer not start. However I solved the problem by doing an OS update, now it starts directly from MSATA.
