Apologies if this is in the wrong board.

 

I'm trying to gather the drivers for OSD. Having a little trouble with the 8460p. I'm building x64 Windows 7 and I can't seem to find the correct driver. Everything I've tried on the download page has not worked. Anyone able to point me in the right direction?

Hi:

 

Sometimes I have found the Intel ethernet drivers on the HP support site for several model desktops and notebooks do not work.

 

For me what has always worked was to install the ethernet driver directly from Intel.

 

The second file listed is for W7 x64

Hi:

 

Please post the hardware ID for the ethernet device.

 

If you don't know where to find the hardware ID, use the guide at the link below.

It's now 2017 and I just found this message.  The Intel prolink driver worked when the Intel drivers on the HP d/l site did not.  You saved me tons of effort.  Thanks.
