Unfortunately, the 64 GB eMMC drive cannot be upgraded.

The only thing you can do is to add a M.2 SATA SSD, but you can't boot from it, so you may as well use a 64 GB SD card and leave it inserted in the SD card reader slot.

You will probably have to back up your files and clean install Windows and reinstall your programs.

Download Windows 11

When you get to the part that asks, 'Where do you want to install Windows,' delete every partition on the drive, leaving just one partition of unallocated space.  Click Next and Windows should install.

I have a HP notebook with a 64 GB eMMC drive and I've had to do that myself.

It's been running for a couple of years now on W11 and I still have around 25 GB of free space on the C: drive.

I keep my files on a 64 GB SD card left in the slot at all times.

I also use this free disk cleaning utility which gets rid of a bunch of junk files that the Windows disk cleanup app doesn't delete.

Wise Disk Cleaner - Free Disk Cleanup and Defrag Tool

Also, when you run the built in Microsoft disk cleanup utility, always select the Cleanup system files option to delete as many files as you can.

You are right. The 64 GB eMMC cannot be upgraded because it is fixed to the board. Many users face space issues with this storage size.

Using an SD card for personal files is a practical solution. It helps keep the C: drive free and makes the system run smoother.

A clean Windows install and deleting old partitions can also free up some space. Regular Disk Cleanup (with “Cleanup system files”) is important too.

Thanks for sharing your experience. It will help other users with the same issue.
