HP Pavilion Gaming - 17-cd0005nt

""i have an  'HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 17-cd0xxx.'( HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop - 17-cd0005nt).  my storage is running low, and I want to add an SSD. not sure if there's an extra slot for it. can I slap in another SSD next to my current one?"" I asked this question earlier, but the answers were a bit techy, and I'm not great with computer specs. I just need a simple yes or no: Can I stick in another SSD, or is that a no-go?

Hi:

The service manual (chapter 1) indicates that there is support for only one M.2 SSD.

You can replace the existing 512 GB NVMe SSD with one having a greater storage capacity.

I don't know why you didn't understand my answer to your original question.

It says the same thing.  There is only one M.2 slot, so no you can't just slap in another SSD next to your current one.
