Hi @Manoj157,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

For touchpad or built-in mouse problems on your HP Victus laptop, you have two options: try quick troubleshooting, and we can arrange service.

1. Quick Checks You Can Try First:

If you can still use the keyboard or an external mouse:

  1. Restart the laptop – simple, but often clears temporary driver glitches.

  2. Check Touchpad Enable/Disable:

    • On many HP laptops, the touchpad can be toggled via a function key (e.g., Fn + a key with a touchpad icon) or by double‑tapping the upper‑left corner of the touchpad.

  3. Update drivers through HP Support:

    • Open a browser and go to Official HP® Support.

    • Enter your product name (e.g., HP Victus 15 or HP Victus 16, depending on your model).

    • Go to Software, Drivers & Firmware and install any recommended Mouse, Keyboard & Input or Chipset updates.

  4. Check Windows Settings:

    • Go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Touchpad (Windows 11) or Settings > Devices > Touchpad (Windows 10).

    • Make sure the touchpad is turned on and sensitivity is set appropriately.

Please help us by providing the Product serial number or product number in a private message so we can assist further.
