Product: HP ZBook Studio G3 Mobile Workstation
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Faulty HP ZBook Studio G3 battery, they swell! This is my 2nd battery to do this. I was afraid it would catch on fire! I took it out, ordered another one. Is this common, again this is the 2nd one to do this on the same laptop!

Sorry to hear that you are having problems ... I would like to help you.

Check with the fire department where this battery can be returned, because there is an acute fire hazard.

This battery must not be thrown into the household waste !

(1) Create Windows system <restore point>

(2) Download and install BIOS Update

      • The current BIOS does not support a hardware component or a Windows upgrade.
      • HP Support recommends installing a specific BIOS update.

"

 

(3) Reboot

(4) Let BIOS be installed until it's completely done !

(5) Download and install / update

(6) Reboot Windows, log in and wait a few minutes

(7) Shutdown Windows ( No Sleep / No Hibernate )

 

(8) Enter BIOS

Enable <maximize battery health> function

 

(9) Please report your results
