Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Unfortunately, I did not find an answer in the internet, so I ask my question here :

 

how can i activate the fingerprint reader of my notebook under windows10?

Currently in the account settings of the operating system under "login options" is displayed:

                                           Windows Hello is not available on this device

The notebook 450 G1 includes a fingerprint reader and was still working under windows 7.

Someone an idea?

The only suggestion I can offer would be to install the HP Client Security Manager software from your notebook's support page to use the fingerprint scanner with.

 

HP Client Security Manager provides enhanced Windows login and website single-sign-on capabilities. Security Manager is also the host for HP Client Security plugins, and therefore should be installed before other Client Security modules. This package is provided for supported models running a supported operating system.
