Pavillion g6-1c35dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have upgraded my g6 Laptop from the original i3-2330M CPU to the i7-2620M (per the maint. manual). The performance now seems worse however. Is there anything else I need to do or was this new CPU not compatible with my machine?

I did upgrade with an i7-2620M. I previously had 6 MB RAM and an SSD but still see a slow down compared to the i3.

i3s came out after the i7. remember these are the first generations of theses cpus so you wont expect much out from it.
