i play fortnite and i optimized everything but i still cant run reload or battle royale without lag or crashing sometimes and lots of stutters

I understand how  it must be to experience stutters and crashes when you’ve already optimized your settings especially when you just want to enjoy Fortnite smoothly. 

 

Could you please share:

  • The exact HP model you’re using  
  • Whether you’re playing on the latest Windows updates and graphics drivers
  • If the issue happens only in Fortnite Reloaded/Battle Royale or across other games too

Here are a few  steps you can try :

  1. Update GPU drivers: Make sure your NVIDIA/AMD/Intel graphics drivers are fully up to date.
  2.  Check background apps: Close unnecessary programs running in the background to free up system resources.
  3.  Adjust in-game settings: Try lowering shadows, post-processing, and effects  these often cause stutters.
  4.  Enable Game Mode: In Windows settings, turn on Game Mode to prioritize performance.
  5.  Monitor temperatures: Overheating can cause crashes; ensure vents are clear and the laptop is on a hard surface.
