@CinarKucuk, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

I'm sorry to hear about the issues you're experiencing with your HP Omen 15 laptop. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve the problem:

Check Graphics Settings:

  • Ensure that your laptop is set to use the discrete GPU for games. This can usually be configured in the NVIDIA Control Panel under "Manage 3D settings" by setting the preferred graphics processor to "High-performance NVIDIA processor".

Update or Rollback GPU Drivers:

  • Sometimes the latest drivers can cause issues. Try rolling back to a previous driver version using the device manager. Alternatively, visit the NVIDIA website to download and install the latest GPU drivers again.

Perform a Clean Installation of Drivers:

  • Uninstall the current graphics drivers using a tool like DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) in Safe Mode. After uninstalling, install the latest drivers from NVIDIA's website.

Check for Power Settings:

  • Make sure that your laptop is set to the High-Performance power plan while gaming. This can be adjusted in the Windows Control Panel under "Power Options".

Monitor Temperature and Throttling:

  • High temperatures can lead to throttling. Use software like HWMonitor to check your CPU and GPU temperatures during gameplay.

Check Game Settings:

  • Although you mentioned setting them to the lowest, make sure any in-game settings are not conflicting with the GPU's control panel settings.

Run Diagnostics:

  • Use HP’s PC Hardware Diagnostics tool to conduct a complete hardware test to rule out potential hardware issues.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
