Thanks for the post.
I understand that you are getting a horizontal green line on your notebook, is that right?

Not to worry, I will be glad to assist you.
Have you checked the display in HP Recovery manager or BIOS?
Boot the computer to BIOS by tapping F10 repeatedly on startup.
Check if the line is visible in BIOS.
If the line is visible in BIOS, then it is a hardware issue where the display needs to be replaced.
Refer to "Image on screen flickers, has lines or distorted colors" section in this HP Article.
If the line is not visible in BIOS then uninstall the graphics driver from device manager and reinstall it using HP Support Assistant.

This clearly indicates that there is a hardware issue with the display on your computer and the display needs to be replaced.
