Product: OMEN by HP Laptop PC - 17-w033dx (ENERGY STAR)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have the OMEN HP 17-w033DX laptop and would like to upgrade my hard drive. It currently has the ST1000LM014-1EJ164-SSHD. What are my options for upgrades?

Its specs

It has  1 TB 5400 rpm SATA SSHD now. You have few options

 

1. Replace 1 TB 5400 rpm SATA SSHD using real SSD such as 

           https://www.samsung.com/au/memory-storage/sata-ssd/870-evo-250gb-sata-3-2-5-ssd-mz-77e250bw/  (you can use 2TB

 

2. Add M.2 SATA SSD to your macchine such as

           https://www.samsung.com/au/memory-storage/sata-ssd/ssd-860-evo-sata-3-m-2-2tb-mz-n6e2t0bw/    (you can use 1TB or 2TB)

 

3. Do both 1 & 2.
