Hi,
Your notebook is listed as coming with a 500Gb Hard Drive, but you can just as easily install a 750Gb HDD if you want a bit more space - the drives on the following links are examples that would be fine for your notebook.
The procedure to replace the Hard Drive starts on Page 61 of your Maintenance & Service Guide.

Hi,
You're welcome 
Once you've installed the HDD, you can use your Recovery Media to reinstall the operating system on the new drive

Yes, that should be fine - it's probably a bit slimmer ( 7mm ) than the existing drive, but will still fix into the caddy Ok.
