Yes you could. Here is the Service Manual:
Max memory is 2 x eight gig DDR3L-1600 SO-DIMM modules for 16 total.
The 2.5 inch SATA hard drive could be replaced with a 2.5 inch SATA SSD.
"How to" starts p. 53. Memory upgrade is not very easy as it takes removal of the motherboard but can be done.
