Hinge on right side cracked, gap when opening and closing. One year warranty expired 6 months ago, if i buy extended warranty is this covered? will my Chase Visa cover it (says it adds an extra year)

To get the answer to this question, pre-existing damage will not be covered by an extended warranty plan. However, HP can repair your computer under out of warranty service options. As we have limited support boundaries in the support community as of now. I would request you to reach out to our Support and our Support Engineers should be able to check the available service options in order to diagnose the computer physically.
