I have a HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15-cx0xxx 15-cx0056wm
the laptop has been in storage for a few years due to the broken issue. The laptop is in fair condition but both hinges that connect to the monitor have been broke and are disconnected from the monitor, they jut out from the back of the base.
I am willing to repair the monitor myself due to warranty expire but would like to know the total cost of repair and the parts that would be needed to fix it myself or take to a support technician.

Hello.
Take a look at the Maintenance and Service Guide for this laptop model. Besides instructions to replace all the parts it also includes all the part numbers, including display bezel, hinges, hinge brackets and so on. You just need to disassemble the display and possibly the laptop chassis as well to determine all the broken parts.
You can order these part numbers from HP at https://parts.hp.com; from eBay/Amazon and other internet marketplaces; or you can have a local HP reseller to order these parts from the distributors. Any computer shop could order the parts, really.
You might also try to scavenge parts from broken laptops - people do break their laptops all the time in a manner that makes repairing them not economical so they are sold for parts. The donor laptop would have to be from the same series mentioned in the guide: 15-cx0000 to 15-cx0999.
