HP OfficeJet Pro 9015 All-in-One Printer

I bought a new laptop and don't see a way to scan with my hp printer anymore.  Any ideas on how to get it to work?

To use your HP OfficeJet Pro 9015 All-In-One Printer to scan with your new laptop, you'll need to ensure that you have the necessary drivers and software installed. Follow these general steps to set up scanning on your new laptop.

 

  • Driver Installation: Make sure you have the latest drivers for your printer installed on your new laptop. You can usually find the drivers on the HP official website. Go to the HP support page, enter your printer model (in this case, OfficeJet Pro 9015), and download the drivers for your operating system.
  • HP Smart App: HP provides a tool called HP Smart that can be very helpful in managing your printer and scanning documents. Install the HP Smart app on your laptop. You can download it from the official HP website or your laptop's app store.
  • Connect the Printer: Ensure that your printer is properly connected to your laptop. If you are using a USB connection, make sure the USB cable is securely connected. If you are using a wireless connection, ensure that both the printer and laptop are on the same network.
  • Configure Printer Settings: Open the HP Smart app and follow the on-screen instructions to add your printer. Make sure the printer is set as the default printer on your laptop.
