There is no best driver, only one driver that works. From time to time vendors may update driver and normally you use that new driver.

Hi, @R-181

If your notebook has the Ralink wifi adapter, you have the newest W10 driver available, which is over 4 years old.

If you are having issues with the wifi or Bluetooth, which is common with that card and newer releases of W10, you will need to upgrade the wifi card to this model, if your notebook has two antenna cables connected to the Ralink wifi card in there now.  It should.

Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 802.11 ac 2x2 WiFi + BT 4.0      HP Part # 710661-001

The card is readily available on eBay or Amazon.

Search by the HP part number, not by the model number of the wireless card.

Here is the link to the service manual for your notebook, where you can find the wifi card removal and replacement procedure.

Or you can purchase an external USB wifi adapter that has better support for W10.
