Hi, @marioevan

I recommend that you open up the notebook and have a look, because in the motherboard illustrations in chapter 6, I see two NVMe SSD positions.

Maintenance and Service Guide (hp.com)

Also, if you look at the service video at the link below, when the person removes the bottom cover, you can see the empty SSD slot on the left side of the notebook below the left fan.

Removing & Replacing Parts | OMEN by HP 16.1-inch Gaming 16-n0000 | HP Computer Service | HP Support...

And when you watch the procedure for removing and replacing the SSD, the person indicates to follow the same procedure if a second M.2 SSD is installed.

From manual of the series (page 2). It does NOT have dual storage option

                   https://kaas.hpcloud.hp.com/pdf-public/pdf_5947650_en-US-1.pdf

It only has ONE M.2 PCIe Gen 4 NVMe slot.

Regards.

Yes.. I guess the only way to know for sure is open it.. i will upgrade to a 1tb SSD and if there is another spot i will keep my 512.   If its only one spot i will use my 512 as not installed........ Thank you for your help.

You're very welcome.

Can i upgrade this to a 2TB or only 1TB?

HP Recommended

You can go up to 4 TB if you want, as long as the drive you buy is single-sided.
