how to increase memory controller speed.

In my HP laptop(HP 15s-GR0012AU / 35K35PA), the RAM is capable to 3200MT/s, but in the Ryzen 3 memory controller os speed is set at 2400MT/s. So, my concern is how to increase that speed to its capacity of 3200.

One more concern is that my current RAM is 8gb in slot1, if put 16gb in slot 2, then any consequences due to flex/asymmetric operation?.I'm giving you my laptop info as below:

Unfortunately, you can't increase the memory speed to 3200.

Click the link below, scroll down to and click 'Expand All' and go to 'Connectivity' which indicates that the max speed your Ryzen processor runs the memory at is 2400.

DDR4-3200 memory, if installed, will downclock to 2400 automatically.

2 Steps to Check Maximum RAM Capacity of Your Computer

If it reports 32 GB, that means your system supports 2x16 GB RAM, and you can likely install a 16 GB module in an empty second memory slot. If 16 GB is reported, the 2nd slot only supports max 8 GB.
