hi i want to upgrade my laptop witha 256 ssd m.2 i want to if my  HP Pavilion - 15-au114tx have a m.2 slot for ssd cause i cant find it please help me ...this is my laptop....if it has can u show me a picture ?please

OK. As you can see the M2 slot is missing from motherboard. So you can not install an M2 SSD. You could replace the hard drive with a 2.5" SSD such as the 2.5" Samsung 860 Evo or similar.

Hi,

The service manual does mention M2 slot with support for M2 SATA3 SSD. However, sometimes notebooks that did not come with an M2 SSD are missing the physical slot on the motherboard.

If the slot is present you can install an M2 SATA3 SSD such as the M2 Samsung 860 Evo or similar.

If the slot is not present you could replace the 2.5" Hard Drive with a 2.5" SSD.
