I am very annoid by the keyboard backlight going off after being idle for 30 seconds - I do hope someone has a solution ...

I don't think it has that feature. The option to set the time should be in the BIOS, but I've only seen that feature on HP business models. I'm 99% sure your model doesn't have that option in the BIOS.

I was afraid of that😢

But still find it not logical - every owner should be able to decide for themself !

You can switch off always but not on always - weird.

I already looked in the BIOS but did not see the Advanced menu option - isn't there any registry setting which could do the trick ?
