how to keep the keyboard backlight always on

I am very annoid by the keyboard backlight going off after being idle for 30 seconds - I do hope someone has a solution ...

Hi @Hans911 

I don't think it has that feature. The option to set the time should be in the BIOS, but I've only seen that feature on HP business models. I'm 99% sure your model doesn't have that option in the BIOS.

But still find it not logical - every owner should be able to decide for themself !

You can switch off always but not on always - weird.

I already looked in the BIOS but did not see the Advanced menu option - isn't there any registry setting which could do the trick ?

This is designed to conserve battery life. Business models have better batteries, allow you to adjust the keyboard backlight brightness, and are clearly devices that can cost three times as much as your laptop.
