Welcome to the HP Community --

This series offers the backlit keyboard OPTION -- Many models in the series do not have a backlit keyboard installed.

If the keyboard includes the backlit keyboard icon on the F9 key (just to the left of the Insert key), then the computer has a backlit keyboard.  If the F9 key is blank (no keyboard icon), then there is no backlit keyboard installed in the computer.

NOTE:  The top cover with keyboard remains after removing all other spare parts from the computer. In this section,
the first table provides the main spare part number for the top cover/keyboards. The second table provides
the country codes.
